Have you been to Outback Steakhouse? There are quite a number of this restaurant worldwide. According to Wikipedia, there are over 1200 locations in 23 countries throughout the world and in South Korea, there are 101 Outback Steakhouse locations. In Malaysia, Outback Steakhouse has just opened their second steakhouse restaurant at Nu Sentral Mall in Kuala Lumpur. Their first branch was opened at Bukit Bintang Park. If you frequent Lowyat Mall, you would have noticed this restaurant which is located a few meters away from the Mac store in front of Lowyat Mall.
You may be wondering whether this is an Australian chain restaurant because of its name. But no, Outback Steakhouse is actually an Australian-themed American casual dining restaurant chain.
Since this is a steakhouse, you could expect some very good steaks here. All steaks are seasoned with their secret 17-spice blend and served with sauces that are made fresh daily. The portion is quite large and they only use USDA approved grain fed beef. An 8oz Ribeye is priced at RM54.95 and it is a steal!
If you don’t take beef, I would recommend you to order their Grilled Norwegian Salmon on rice pilaf which is priced at RM39.95. You may require the cook to cook it medium rare which is the perfect way to have salmons. Seasoning wise, it was very good. It was simple and delicious. Nothing fancy.
One of Outback Steakhouse’s favorites is their BBQ Beef Ribs. A half portion of this tender and succulent beef ribs smoked and grilled to perfection is priced at RM39.95 and a full portion is only RM59.95. The BBQ Beef Ribs were brushed in their tangy BBQ sauce and served with Aussie Fries.
Here are some of the food they serve here for your reference. I think Outback Steakhouse had done an amazing job in their menu. It looks so good that it makes me hungry just looking at them.
Signature Steaks – “Before each juicy, delicious steak is delivered to you, it is hand-selected, aged just right, inspected and trimmed. Then it is expertly seasoned and seared over a red hot grill to seal in its bold flavors. All steaks cooked to order.”
Combos and Seafood menu. The price is quite affordable – not too expensive but not too cheap either.
After having your meals, you could hang out with your friends and watch football while enjoying some wines or beers.
