The wanton mee at Restoran Kok Hing, Kepong is the default go-to place for me whenever I feel like having some wanton mee. Their char-siew, roast pork and roasted chicken are quite popular here.
Just look at this piece of roasted chicken placed on top of the wanton mee. It is juicy and tender. This plate of Wanton Mee with Roasted Chicken is priced at RM6.50.
Wanton Mee with char-siew and roasted pork – RM7. Their char-siew is really good. It is perfectly cooked. The sweetness of the caramelized char-siew alone is enough to keep you coming back for more. Roasted pork is fat and juicy. The only downside to their wanton mee is that the noodles are slightly overcooked and the texture is a little soft. Taste wise, it is good.
As for drinks, nothing special. But I like to have wanton mee with hot milk of tea. I think it goes well together.
Besides noodles, you can also opt for rice. There are many other items on the menu as well, which I will leave it to you to explore yourself.
