The success of Yezi results in the opening of their second branch in 1 Mont Kiara Mall.

Yezi’s Most Outstanding Soup

Yezi’s soups are quite special especially their truffles soup and imperial soup. There are 5 unique variants of soups and they are the Original Coconut Broth, Imperial Canton Broth, Aromatic Taiwanese Beef Spice Broth, Fragrant ‘Shao Xing’ Wine Seafood Broth and Wild Forest Truffle Mushroom Broth. These soups are not cheap and it ranges between RM38.00 to RM88.00.

Yezi is currently running their Chinese New Year 2017 promotion and there are 3 different sets you can choose. Each set is available either for 6 paxs or 10 paxs. We had the opportunity to try Set A for 6 pax recently and these are some of the things that comes in Set A. There are 3 different soup flavours we can choose and they are the Properity Broth, Imperial Canton Broth (without chicken) or Fragrant “Shao Xing” Wine Crab Broth.

Yezi Steamboat Uses Premium Ingredients

Yezi Steamboat uses mostly premium ingredients. Set A of the Chinese New Year 2017 promotion comes with tiger prawns. This 6 pax set comes with 8 pieces of tiger prawns and some sea asparagus. The tiger prawns are fresh and the prawn shells peels off easily without much effort needed to put in into removing them from its flesh.

All Yezi’s dishes are prepared fresh daily and they include homemade balls, dumplings and pastes. You won’t find frozen processed food here. Set A comes with fried lobster salad balls and chicken balls with mushrooms. You can’t get these elsewhere and they are both actually quite good. I felt as if there’s an explosion of flavors when I bite into it.

Yezi’s fish and prawn pastes come in a shell and bamboo “plate” – good stuffs as well.

Most of the vegetables used here are organic vegetables and are washed to remove dangerous pesticides. Different mix of mushrooms are also included in this set.

Fresh and thinly sliced pork slices are also included in this set. The ratio between fat and meat is just right. The pork was soft and tender.

Rice cakes to clear your palate.

Lastly, it comes with Yezi’s homemade coconut ice cream. The portion may look a little small here but its not. Yezi’s Imperial soup was so good that we ended up topping up our soup at least 5 times. So at the end of it, the portion of the ice cream is just nice. Anything more is too much.
