Uncle Lim’s Kopitiam. Located in Ikano Power Centre in Petaling Jaya, it is one of the original kopitiam which offers homegrown coffee and tea.
Its coffee beans was roasted said to be roasted the traditional way. Hence making it a truly Malaysian made coffee. Served in thick porcelain cups, the coffee can be enjoyed with their traditional snacks, such as their toasted bread.
One of their best selling item here is the Malaysian favourite Nasi Lemak. High grade of Thai fragrant rice was used in making their nasi lemak. Not to mention, their sambal was sweet and hot. Moreover, you can choose either to have chicken rendang or beef rendang.
Uncle Lim’s Laksa is not the typical Asam Laksa we have in Penang, but it is the curry-laksa version. The gravy was thick, sweet and hot at the same time.
We turned the mee around for a better shot of Uncle Lim’s Laksa. Unknown to me, but after checking Uncle Lim’s website, the mee they used was actually the Italian spaghetti mee. Well, it was trully appetising to actually try having spaghetti mee in a different way.
