Currently Jogoya is having a promotion for their supper buffet, where for one paying customer, the other partner will get to eat for free. Weekdays only. That sounds like a good deal but there were so many bookings that we only manage to book for a table for the following week. So we ended up going to Eastin Hotel’s Eyuzu, Shumatsu Japanese Buffet Dinner instead.
Eyuzu is also having a promotion for their weekend Sunday buffet dinner, 4 person free 1 person. RM82.00++ (adult) and RM41.00++ (child) from 6.30pm to 10.00pm. The ambiance in Eyuzu is quite pleasant. Although the restaurant is full, at least, it is not too crowded. This is so much better than the other Japanese Restaurant in Mont Kiara, Tenji.
The sashimis are really fresh. I love the salmon sashimi the most.
Don’t the prawns look good? If you love mashed potatoes, I do recommend you trying them. You can find the mashed potatoes at the salad station next to the sashimis. Their Shark fin soup is comparatively good.
As for their Teriyaki Unagi this dish is the bomb! If you are a unagi fan, I’m sure you will love it. You can find this at their mixed dishes station, located near Eyuzu’s main entrance.
Their tempura station are located behind their sashimi station. Tempuras are prepared upon order so although you need to wait for them to cook it, you can order any tempura ingredients of your choice. The best part of it is that they are prepared fresh!
Next to their tempura section, is the teppanyaki section. Like their tempura section, all teppanyakis are also prepared fresh. You may order meat, seafood or vegetables of your choice here.
Eyuzu also have a limited choice of Japanese dumplings such as Takoyaki (fried octopus) and Prawn dumplings.

Eyuzu’s Chawanmushi is a little bit under my expectation, but it was loaded with ingredients.

Sashimi section. If you do not like crowded Japanese buffet restaurant, I do recommend you to try Eyuzu Japanese Cuisine Restaurant at Eastin Hotel in PJ. Not only their food is fresh, their service is good as well.

Wow, i wonder does eatin penang serve the same thing with the same quality. =]
I don’t really know whether there is a Japanese buffet in Eastin, Penang but from what I know, Eyuzu’s Japanese buffet is really good.
