If you enjoy pretzels and pizza, you should check out Pretz N’ Beanz Cafe.
Pretz N’ Beanz Cafe claims to be the only place which serves a combination of pretzels and pizza. The pretzels dough which is dense and chewy in texture are used as the base for pizza. Depending on which pizza you choose, ingredients and cheese are then added on the flatten pretzels dough and thereafter baked in an oven. We were told that the pizza could last for a few hours without it getting soft or mushy. All pizzas comes in 7″ or 10″. This is Pretz N’ Beanz’s classical 7″ Chicken Hawaiian pretzel pizza @ RM15.80.
Pretzels have been known to bring good fortune. Back in the 17th century, pretzels were known as a marriage knot. That’s the reason why pretzels always come in this shape – a distinctive symmetrical looped form, with the ends of a long strip of dough intertwined and then twisted back into itself in a certain way (“a pretzel loop”).
If you love eggs, the Champignon Baked Egg @ RM17.90 which is basically eggs, tomatoes, mushroom and mozzarella cheese served with pretzels is the one for you. The portion is large enough for sharing between two persons. You may purchase the pretzels individually as well. The Basil Cheese pretzel @ RM7.30 is one of the best sellers here.
If you are not too keen on pretzels, there are other items on the menu as well. In fact, there are many and I can’t possibly share everything with you here. This is the Royale Salmon Egg Benedict @ RM26.40 – sliced pieces of salmon with runny egg served with salad, onions and red pepper – yum!
You may also customize your own continental breakfast here as well. You may choose either a choice of 3 for RM15.80 or a choice of 5 for RM20.05. What I had here is the continental breakfast with a choice of 3 with croissant – two sunshine eggs, hash brown and sauteed mushroom.
The coffees here are good and reasonably priced too. This is the House Blend where on the left is the Caramel Macchiato @ RM13.90 and on the right is Cappuccino @ RM11.00.
