Okay. Here’s the other Coconut Ice Cream I was telling you about previously in my earlier post. This is the newly opened Nutty Coco Coconut Ice Cream. They claim to be the original chatuchak ice cream. Honestly, I don’t really care whose entity is the original one. The more the merrier, right? I was there last weekend during their opening ceremony and they had a promotion, a buy 1 free 1 promotion that will last for a week – until 30 Apr 2015 (ended yesterday).
The Signature @ RM 9.50 comes with a few scoops of coconut ice cream, some coconut flesh and sweetcorns and roasted groundnut as toppings.
The Galaxy Star @ RM 10.50 comes also with a few scoops of coconut ice cream, some coconut flesh, honey stars, chocolate liquid and roasted peanuts as toppings. After trying both Sangkaya and Nutty Coco, I prefer Sangkaya’s version as their ice cream is creamier. That said, I’m not saying Nutty Coco is not good. They are equally good but their ice cream taste lighter – something like a sorbet.
