Naughty Nuri’s at Atria Shopping Gallery

Naughty Nuri at Atria Shopping Gallery

Naughty Nuri’s is known for their premium barbecue pork ribs. Naughty Nuri’s was founded by Isnuri Suryatmi, “Nuri” and her husband, Brian Aldinger in 1995 where they first opened their roadside warung in Ubud, Bali. (Read my experience at their original warung in Ubud, Bali.) Their tantalizing barbecue pork ribs are prepared with Balinese spices and a secret sauce.

Naughty Nuri - Pork Ribs

After having a very good impression of Naughty Nuri’s, when we heard that Naughty Nuri’s will be opened in Desa Sri Hartamas in December 2014, we were among the first to their restaurant. Taste wise, it was as good as the one we had in Bali, but the size was a little too small.

Naughty Nuri - BBQ Pork Rib

There is a lot of improvement today. The ribs are very much bigger now. It was really good that we ordered another one. Naughty Nuri’s premium quality meats are imported from Spain. We were told that each portion of Naughty Nuri’s 1995 Signature BBQ Spare Ribs weights about 750 to 800gms per serving for RM48++.

Naughty Nuri - Ayam Bertutu

If you don’t take pork, you may try their Ayam Bertutu @ RM35.00. The first thing I noticed was the portion. It’s half a chicken. The combination of the marinated chicken with either one or both of the two types of sambals is simply divine.

Naughty Nuri - Satay Lilit

Naughty Nuri’s Satay Lilit @ RM 26.00 is great for sharing between 2 to 3 persons. Just look at the amount of meat they put on each stalk of lemongrass. You see the black sambal on the top right corner? That sambal makes the difference between a good satay lilit and an awesome satay lilit.

Naughty Nuri - Indonesian Style Mee Goreng

You may use this sambal with any other dishes. We tried this sambal with their Indonesian Style Mee Goreng @ RM23.00 and Indonesian Style Fried Rice @ RM23.00. Both comes with some pork belly and a fried egg.

Naughty Nuri - Indonesian Style Fried Rice

Naughty Nuri’s is also known for their Twisted Martinis. If you order any of these twisted martinis, you’ll be entertained with a dance. There are 5 types of twisted martinis and they are:

  • Melontini @ RM29.00
  • Lychee Martini @ RM29.00
  • Orange Poke Martini @ RM29.00
  • Xpressotini @ RM35.00
  • Senget Martini @ RM35.00

Mojito - Passion Fruit

Since we don’t drink, we ordered the Passion Fruit Mojito @ RM29.00 and the Asam Boi Mojito @ RM29.00.

Every Sundays, Naughty Nuri’s is offering an ala carte buffet which includes some of their signature items such as the Naughty Nuri’s 1995 Signature BBQ Spare Ribs, BBQ Satay Lilit, Balinese Spiced “Sop Buntut” and other popular items and special menu which are only available during the buffet times.
