Molten Chocolate Cafe at Dataran Pahlawan, Malacca

Molten Chocolate Cafe - Mallow Hot Chocolate

Molten Chocolate Cafe is a great place to go for your chocolate fix. Almost everything you see on the menu contains chocolate. Waffles, brownies, pancakes, drinks, almost everything comes with either the normal chocolate, white chocolate, dark chocolate or a combination of all chocolates. There are so many mouthwatering chocolate desserts that we had a very hard time choosing what to order.

Molten Chocolate Cafe - Chocolate Waffle

Finally, we decided to go for the Chocolate Waffle @ RM17 (RM19.50 with ice cream), Brownies Crepe @ RM28.50 (RM31 with ice cream) and Sizzling Pancake @ RM26.50.

The Chocolate Waffle comes in three pieces. The waffles themselves are not of chocolate flavor but just a plain waffle and they are coated and drizzle with the three chocolates as mentioned above. The waffles are served with whipped cream. Additional charges of RM2.50 are applicable if you wish to add ice cream on them.

Molten Chocolate Cafe - Brownie Crepe

The Brownie Crepe looks like a nice piece of wall tile. If you are thinking that the chocolates are already harden, it is not. The chocolates are melted chocolates poured on top of the crepe. It may look a little rich here but it is not. The chocolates each taste differently and the combination of all three of them is just right.

Molten Chocolate Cafe - Sizzling Pancake

Among all, the Sizzling Pancake is my favourite item here. The chocolate is rich, very rich. The pancake was still sizzling when it arrived at our table. Just cut the pancake up and mixed it with the ice cream and hot chocolate. It’s absolutely divine.

Molten Chocolate Cafe - Belgium Hot Chocolate

There are many chocolate drinks on the menu and we opted for the Belgium Hot Chocolate @ RM14.50 and Mallow Hot Chocolate @ RM16 (the first picture shown above). Both are quite sweet. The mallow hot chocolate is much sweeter thanks to the marshmallow. If you don’t want something else, a good selection of coffee is available as well. Espresso, cappucino, latte, you name it, they have it.

Molten Chocolate Cafe - Cappucino

Molten Chocolate Cafe is a great place to hang out with your family and friends for a sweet meal together. Kids will definitely love this place. I mean, who doesn’t? It’s a chocolate cafe.
