I have been going around for steamboat recently and Lin Yuan Steamboat Kitchen is one of them. One this special about Lin Yuan is that, not only they serve steamboat meals they also serves chinese cuisines such as crabs and etc.. Lin Yuan also claims that they do not add any MSGs in their soup base.
We ordered a Set Steamboat Meal for two, priced at RM14.90 per person.
Lin Yuan specialty is their ‘Golden Pumpkin Porridge” soup base. As pumpkins are rich in vitamins, this is a very healthy choice for many. I really recommend this. We were charged Rm4.50 for the pumpkin porridge soup.
There are many choices of ingredients if the ones in the sets are not enough. We ordered their Imported Beef Slices, priced at RM15.00. The thinly slices of beef was quite expensive considering the amount that was given, but nevertheless, it was really good.
Lin Yuan’s ‘Explosive’ Meatball is one of the ingredients that I really recommend here. A bite of it would release the juices from the meatball. The experience is quite similar to ‘siew long baos’. The Fish Slices on the other hand was quite okay – very fresh at RM13.00.
Meat Dumpling– Rm13.00.
And the usual stuffs, noodles, mihuns and eggs.
Wanting to try one of their cooked dishes, we also ordered their Fried Kam Hiong Lala priced at RM18.00. It turns out to be the ‘bad apple’ for the night. It is better to just stick to the steamboat.
