Kilo Grill Eat All You Can Barbecue Buffet @ Publika

December 15, 2015 by Apple Foodees Leave a Comment

Have you heard that Kilo Grill, the Barbecue Restaurant in Publika is now having an All You Can Eat Barbecue A La Carte Buffet for a nett price of only RM49.90?

Sounds like I’m joking, right? Well, I’m not.

Take a look:

Kilo Grill’s All You Can Eat Buffet includes some amazing and premium ingredients. Even though there are only very few items on the menu, there is literally zero processed food. For instance, if you like tiger prawns, you may order as many fresh tiger prawns as you wish (of course, it depends on the availability of the tiger prawns they have, lah). Just try to make sure that you are able to finish them. It is not nice to waste food.

Instead of ordering ourselves blindly, we took the advice from the staffs to have a taste of everything they have on the menu. And I strongly recommend you to take their advice too (because they know what they are doing) as once you’ve tried everything, then you’ll know what more to order.

We’ve tried everything, from the chicken and beef skewers to the marinated octopus, oysters to scallops, slices of pork and etc.

Our favourites were the tiger prawns, scallops and oysters. The prawns and oysters were fresh and the scallops were properly cleaned. The oysters were served with a sprinkle of cheese flakes and spring onions.

The chicken, beef and pork came marinated or with little salt and pepper seasoning. The pork loin and pork belly though may be a little fatty but were very good. The partially charred and juicy lightly marinated meat is commendable.

This was our second order of oysters and scallops. There is no time limit for this buffet and based on the kind of food and the price we paid that night, it was worth every cent. No service charge and GST some more.

For those of you who had dined in Kilo Grill before the buffet menu, you would know that Kilo Grill also serves other premium ingredients such as the Iberico pork, sashimi grade Argentinian sea prawns, Australian rib eye and Irish oysters. These items are not part of the buffet menu but is still available in the a la carte menu.

Overall, we had a great time at Kilo Grill. The staffs are quite friendly and we managed to have a little chat with one of them. Kilo Grill used to open for lunch, but not now. Kilo Grill is only open from 3.30pm to 1.00am as the smell from all the barbecue may linger around your shirt after a session at Kilo Grill. You wouldn’t want to let your colleagues know what you had for lunch, correct?

You can find Kilo Grill Barbecue Restaurant on the first floor facing the main road. Kilo Grill is located right next to San Nae Deul.
