Gordon Ramsay Burgr at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas

I was away earlier this month on a self-sponsored trip to the United States (more on my travelogue in my coming posts). I was at Las Vegas and had the chance of trying Gordon Ramsay’s Burger at Gordon Ramsay Burgr at Planet Hollywood Resorts and Casino. Knowing that this is a very popular place among tourists, we decided to have an earlier dinner to beat the queue. We were there at about 5.00pm and to our surprise there wasn’t any queue at all.

Since the restaurant is located in a Casino, it is not unusual to see that priorities are given to regulars to the casino – SevenStars, Diamond, VIP Access and Platinum Guests who holds the Total Rewards card gets priority seating. As for parties of three or more, you are to see the hostess before standing in line.

Since there were the three of us, we went straight to the hostess standing in front of the restaurant. As it was still early, we were quickly escorted to our table. The restaurant is an open kitchen. You can even choose to sit in front of the chef to see them in action.

Upon reaching our table, we were immediately given a brief introduction on Gordon Ramsay Burgr menu. This is what the front of the menu looks like. The menu is made in such a way to allow the menu to stand on a folded napkin.

And when you open the menu, you’ll see a happy picture of Mr. Gordon Ramsay himself. For your information, you can keep the menu as a souvenir.

We were informed that the best selling item is the Hell’s Kitchen Burger and the award-winning “The Gordon Ramsay Burger” – which is not listed on the menu, the Sweet Potato Fries and Fury Chicken Wings.

So we decided to go with the recommended ones. We ordered the Hell’s Kitchen Burger, the Gordon Ramsay Burger and Farm Burger. This is the Hell’s Kitchen Burger priced at $15. It consists of asdero cheese, roasted jalapeno peppers, avocado and oven roasted tomato.

The Gordon Ramsay Burger is not listed on the menu, but it was available at $19 – quite pricey – but where can you try this award-winning Gordon Ramsay Burger prepared and specially made for you other than at Burgr?

This is the Farm Burger @ $15 which consists of duck breast bacon, English sharp cheddar and fried egg. The burgers are the best burgers I’ve had. It was so good that we were left craving for more after the last bite. The burger wasn’t dry but juicy and flavourful. The combination of ingredients works very well. All burgers are grilled over apple and alder wood.

The service was very good. We waited roughly about 15 minutes before our burgers arrived at our table. Overall, we were quite happy with the food and service. Before I end, here are some of the pictures I took around the restaurant.

If you are making a trip to Las Vegas, you should stop by for a burger at Gordon Ramsay Burgr. They are open from 11.00am till midnight – 12.00am.
