Franco is a fusion concept of French – Japanese casual dining restaurant. Franco used to be a popular place and from what I heard, previously people would need to queue for at least 2 hours before they can enter the restaurant. There is no need for you to queue anymore as Franco had since opened many branches in Malaysia.
We had the Chicken Teriyaki Pasta @ RM24.80. It is an umani combination of pasta, chicken, turkey ham, shimeiji mushroom, leeks and a special teriyaki sauce, topped with nori (seaweed).
We also had the Spaghetti Yumeina @ RM24.80. The spaghetti is sauteed together with frankfurters, baby spinach, tomatoes and smoked chicken ham in a secret broth and shoyu. Both of the pastas are quite alright considering that the ingredients which they claim to use are the freshest locally-sourced and imported high-quality ingredients.
For dessert, we had the Berries Cheesecake @ RM15.80 and Fruity Pancake @ RM20.80. I prefer the berries cheesecake more as I like the combination of the fresh berries together with the heavy taste of cheesecake.
Matcha Smoothie is Franco’s blended matcha softee, matcha honey and ice topped with homemade cream. It may look scary because it is green in colour but it was quite good.
If matcha smoothie is not for you, you may choose the cafe latte instead. It is a pretty save choice as you can’t go wrong with coffee.
