Doma Korean Cafe is the little Korean cafe at Mont Kiara shoplex. It is located opposite from where all the other restaurants and cafe – the same row as Las Vacas and Baskin Robbins.
Like any other Korean cafes, Doma Korean Cafe serves typical Korean food. They main specialty here is KFC aka Korean Fried Chicken. Doma’s Korean Fried Chicken comes in 3 different flavours – normal, honey-soy and spicy & sweet. Each piece of fried chicken are fried twice and that’s the secret to the crispness of the chicken. It is less greasy and stays crispy.
We also tried their barbecue ribs and even though Doma claims to specialise in Korean fried chicken, I think they should also highlight the awesomeness of their barbecue ribs. It is smoky, tender and juicy and simply delicious.
There are many good Korean desserts shops around town and most of it are quite expensive. It normally comes in big portions which is too big that you have no choice but to share it with someone.
Doma’s bingsu comes in smaller portion at half the price of what you would have to pay for in other places. Smaller portion but they do not sacrifice the amount of ingredients in each bowl.
This is our blueberry cheese bingsu with milky shaved ice. If you are looking for good bingsu, this is the real deal here.
Based on the board in front of Doma, it seems that there is a promotion of 50% for Doma’s Korean Fried Chicken on Tuesdays. I’m not sure whether this applies every week. So, please check with them first before you assume that there is a promotion.
