If you are in Petaling Jaya, you should try the char koay teow at Chuan Lee Restaurant. This place had been covered heavily by many bloggers and after trying the char koay teow here, I thought that many more people should know about this place.
The char koay teow here is really good. Each plate of char koay teow is fried individually to ensure that the same standard is applied on each plate. The thing I like about this char koay teow is that it has enough ‘wok hei’.
If you like your cockles half-cooked or fully cooked, you should inform him before he fry your plate of char koay teow. If you did not specify, he will half-cooked the cockles. My fully cooked cockles wasn’t good because it wasn’t as ‘juicy’ as I like them to be.
If you decide to come here for lunch, make sure you come earlier. We came here several times and reached here about 1.00pm but couldn’t even try this char koay teow as he had sold out for the day. The best time to come is early in the morning.
