This is our second time to BLab Bar, Bistro and Bakery at The Verve Suites in Mont Kiara. Our first visit was unexpectedly good as and we were quite happy with the Spicy Hungarian Sausage pizza and Garlic Chili Prawn Linguine that we ordered that evening – you can read about it here. And so, we decided to come back to try more stuffs on the menu.
We ordered the Seafood Marinara which is a tomato based pasta with an array of scallop, sea prawn, squid, white clams and slipper lobster. As you can see, BLab is quite generous in terms of the amount of seafood that they serve here. The seafood is not the tiny ones but reasonable sized ones. Taste wise, it was quite good, but I prefer the garlic chili prawn linguine more.
We also had the Grilled Salmon, a norwegian salmon serve on a bed of spinach and mash potatoes. The salmon skin is crispy and the flesh is flaky. It goes very well with the sauce on the side.
Lastly, we ended our evening with a cup of cappucino. Nothing out of the ordinary, but it is good.
Overall, we were quite happy with our dinner here. It may be a little expensive but thanks to our Entertainer App, we got a buy one free one order for a main menu item.
