Bangsar Seafood Garden Restaurant at Bangsar

Where can you get a nice seafood meal in Kuala Lumpur? Located just in front of TMC, One Bangsar Seafood Restaurant offers halal seafood for seafood lovers in Kuala Lumpur. As each meal is designed to fit the number of patrons on each table hence the price varies. There were eight of us that night.

First up was the Loh Han Vegetables (Loh Hon Chai). One Bangsar Seafood Restaurant’s chef are very good at their presentation of the food. Each cucumber and carrots were sliced to its specific slice and decorated on the sides of the plate with care. This dish is priced at RM40.

Next, we had Fresh Water Prawns. I gotta say, my photo does looks like a mess. But the fresh water prawns cooked with special sauce were delicious. The chef even added chips on top of it. Quite special I would say. The fresh water prawns were priced at RM135 per kg.

Any seafood meal will not be complete without crabs. We had two types! No, not two types of crabs, but two crab dishes with two different cooking styles. The crabs were priced at Rm53-60 per kg.

The other style was the Salted Egg Yolk Crab. As you can see, the chef too did an awesome presentation on this meal. Each limbs were carefully placed on the plate. Exactly how the crab looks like when it was alive. Well, I personally love this style more. Its much tastier. Bravo on this dish chef!

Simply delicious.

Baked Cod Fish cooked with Oats, priced at RM130 per kg was an eye opener dish for me. I have tried many types of steamed Cod Fish with soya sauce. In my opinion, this style only works if the Cod fish is fresh. Hence, many times, I was disappointed not because the cooking style was bad, but the freshness of the fish. Well, I was not too sure whether the fish was fresh or not, but I really do love the baked cod fish cooked with oats. Creative dish!

Last up, was the Pumpkin Fried Rice served in Pumpkin. The fragrant fried rice was served along with cubes of pumpkins. This dish was priced at RM40.

If you are looking for a seafood fix in Bangsar area, I would say this is the place for you. Beautiful environment, pleasant people and great food. Nice!
