Madame Tussauds - Wax Museum at Bakers Street, London

It is difficult enough to actually see famous people in real life let alone get up close and personal with them. But at Madame Tussauds the impossible becomes possible. At Madame Tussauds, not only you get see your favourite artists or the Royal family, but you also get to take pictures with them. Well, they are of course not real, but they are only wax models of famous people.

There are numerous galleries and to name a few, The Royal Family, Hollywood and Bollywood stars, World Leaders and many more. Please pardon me for the poor quality of the pictures. Some of the rooms are too dark.

There are 11 galleries and the first room contains the world’s most famous stars. Visitors get to experience the world of glamour at MT’s A-list Party. Greeting you here are some of Hollywood’s famous stars, Brat Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

Do remember to dress at your best as here you will get to mingle with Hollywood’s favourite stars. Just strike a pose with the biggest names in fashion and get your cameras ready to capture that moment.

As the place was so crowded, I nearly missed Christina Aguilera which was standing at the corner. I must say that, they did a very good job in making a wax version of her. She looks so real!

justin-timberlake

One guy nearly knocked over Justin Timberlake as he was standing right in the middle of the gallery. So if you are coming here for a visit, do take care not to topple over any of the wax models there.

Pandamaran Ah Her Bak Kut Teh, Klang

Posted by Apple Foodees On January - 3 - 2010

bakkutteh

Temperatures in Britain are not likely to get higher than 1C and is going to be bitterly cold for the next few days. With temperature just above the freezing point, I had a sudden crave for my favourite, herbal soup meat, Bak Kut Teh. I know, I will fail in my attempt to find a good BKT here in Britain. And this reminds me of the day I joined VK on his food hunt for the best BKT in Klang, a few months back. On our search and after trying a few of the many BKT shops around, we finally found and concluded that this shop is the best (in our list - many of whom were suggested by VK’s readers): Ah Her Bak Kut Teh.

If you are a regular here, I’m sure that you will know that the crowds will start to grow at about 5:30pm and at about 6:00pm, it is not hard to find zero empty seats left. So what is so unique about this place that amazed us and had us concurred that this is the place that offers the best BKT in Klang?

Seng Huat Bak Kut Teh at Klang

Posted by Apple Foodees On November - 15 - 2009

All

Many people labeled this restaurant as the “Under The Bridge” Bak Kut Teh. But the truth is, it is not located under any bridge but beside a pedestrian bridge.

It is quite a quest for a non-local resident of Klang to find this place. We went round the Klang area and only after a few hours then we managed to find it. We almost gave up and return back home. As we had travelled very far from KL, we went looking for it patiently. It is located quite near to the Klang KTM. So if you can find Klang’s KTM station, just scout around the shop lots there.

The actual name is Seng Huat Bak Kut Teh. This restaurant is also known as one of the restaurant which offers the best among the best Bak Kut Teh in Klang.
