We were at Setapak that day for lunch and we came across Kanul Cendol. There was a long queue in front of his mobile stall and out of curiosity, we decided to try his cendol.
We queued for roughly about 15 minutes before it was our turn. You can choose either to have cendol with pulut or normal cendol without pulut rice. We opted for the one with pulut rice and it is priced at RM3.00 a packet. Kanul is quite generous with the toppings. You can see in the video that he is not stingy. Just looking at the gula melaka, coconut milk and cendol is enough to make your mouth water.
We had a short chat with him and we found out that he actually just took over the business from his father. He normally opens his shop at about 1pm and sold out at about 3pm. What I like about his cendol is that it is the gula melaka that he use. Go try it and let me know what you think about his cendol.
