Do you like croissants? If you do, how many croissants can you eat in one meal?
I love croissants a lot and I can eat a whole lot of croissants with or without toppings as they are just delicious. Recently, I visited this place called the Croissant Delicatessen. Croissant Delicatessen specializes in croissants sandwiches.
Croissant Delicatessen do not serve only the normal croissants or butter croissants. They offer four types of croissants; the classic croissant, garlic flavored croissant, pumpkin flavored croissant and the wasabi flavored croissant. Just choose any of these croissants and pair them with any ingredients you prefer. There is a list of specially selected and customized ingredients fully tested and tried by the owners which you can choose from.
This is Croissant Delicatessen’s Pumpkin, Mushroom and Ham croissant sandwich. The pairing of these ingredients are very unique as I have never came across such combinations. The croissant was crunchy as well.
The Ocean Tuna is my favorite. The ingredients in the ocean tuna include tuna, salad, tomato and wasabi. Yes, you read it right. WASABI. Wasabi with tuna on a croissant. Now, that is very unusual. It is surprisingly very good.
Next up is their Garlic and Basil Chicken Croissant with a lot of cheese. If you love basil and chicken, this is the one for you.
The above croissants are the savory types of croissants. If you prefer the sweet type, you may pick their Mixed Berries Chantilly Croissant which is basically croissant with whipped cream, some mixed berries – strawberries, blueberries, etc., with icing sugar and chocolate sauce.
For drinks, you may compliment any of Croissant Delicatessen’s coffee, tea or juices. They do not have fancy artsy coffee. Who cares anyway? The coffee itself tastes great and I am sure that they are made from very good coffee beans. Great coffee for you coffee lovers out there.
The interior layout of this place may look a bit small compare to its neighbors but it is the croissant and coffee that matters.
The croissants are baked fresh upon order and it may take some time for the croissants to arrive at your table.
Croissant Delicatessen is located at the boulevards section of Plaza Damas just outside of the Hartamas Shopping Centre. It is “sandwiched” between Subway and Pastryville. If you had tried Croissant Delicatessen, let me know whether you like their wasabi flavored croissants.
