Buckingham Palace, London, England

Buckingham Palace is one of the must visit place in London. It is the official London residence of the British monarch. According to a reliable source, if you are lucky, you may see the King going pass here waving at everyone. This is quite a popular area not only for tourists but it is also popular among the locals.

If you don’t see any of the royals, you may see their statute instead. Standing together here are King George VI (1895 - 1952) and Queen Elizabeth (1900 - 2002).

Look at the beautiful gardens surrounding the front of the palace. Such a beautiful sight.

London Eye and River Thames

Went for a trip to London yesterday and these are some of the pictures I took at the London Eye. The “Eye” was set up right next to River Thames. The standard price for an adult is £17.50. As for childrens age 4 to 15 years old, its £8.75. Meanwhile children under 4 gets to ride the London Eye for free. As for senior citizens and disabled persons will need to pay £14.00 each.

While riding in one of the capsules on the London Eye, you get to see some of the famous landmarks in London, namely Big Ben, River Thames and the Westminster Bridge.London Eye

Shihlin Night Market: Ay-Chung Flour-Rice Noodles Since 1975

Shihlin’s Night Market is one of the most famous night market located in Shihlin, Taipei. Oyster Noodles or Ay Chung Flour Rice Noodles is a must try street food if you ever come to Shihlin. The noodles are actually the soft mee aka “Mee Suah”.

Ay-Chung Noodles

Opened since 1975, Ay Chung offers only one and only one type menu which is the Oyster Noodle. Hence the worker’s job is simple. Customers will order their noodles, collect and pay them at the kitchen area. If you like your noodles a lot tastier, there is a sauce section just beside the seating area.

Emirates Airlines

Emirates is the official international airline of the United Arab Emirates. Emirates has a reputable track record for being on time for its flights except of course under certain situations when it is not safe to travel.

As Arabic is their official language, all the announcement and menus were given in Arab followed by English. The stickers provided for your instructions to the air stewardess were also in Arab. Well, I do not know about the other airlines; this is the first time I see stickers are use as the mode of communication between the passengers who are asleep and the air hostess.

This is the dinner menu that was given for flights going from KLIA, Kuala Lumpur to Dubai. Being a big fan of curry, I chose the Chicken Curry as my main course.
