Caffebene’s latest branch is now open at Solaris Mont Kiara and the place is jam packed full with people coming from all over the place just to try this South Korean gelato and waffle cafe. Although this chain cafe originates from South Korea, there is nothing “Korean” about this cafe. Caffebene offers authentic Belgian waffles, Italian gelato and natural fruit smoothie.
Since there was a long queue outside of the restaurant, we decided to have a look inside of the cafe to see what Caffebene has to offer here. The first thing that drew my attention is their Bingsu / Coffee which is priced at RM10.80 for a single dose and RM18.80 for a double dose. It looks big enough for sharing.
They also have cakes and waffles in different shapes and sizes to go with the drinks. This is a great place for something light. Caffebene has just announced their latest item on the menu, the Misugaru homemade multi grain drink which claims, amongst others, to prevent graying of hair, reducing cholesterol and sugar levels in the blood – something different which I would love to try.
As we were not ready to queue for that long just for a cup of coffee, we decided to try Cowan, which is located just next door to Caffebene. But I will keep this place in mind the next time I am wiling to wait a bit longer.
