Recently I went Phuket and I had the opportunity to book an affordable flight by MAS airlines. On our way there, we had the option to either choose the noodles with white sauce or nasi lemak / rice with sambal. I chose the noodles as I had just had a plate of nasi lemak just before the flight. It was nice, but the portion was a little bit too little. I guess they take into account the number of person to serve on the flight and the time each person take to eat the whole thing. My sister just went on a vacation to the US and her flight is very much longer than mine.
Comparing what I had during my flight to Phuket and what she had during her flight to the US by Delta Airlines, her meal looks absolutely fantastic. She had rice, prawns, salads, paus, beef with more rice.
Thereafter, she also had omelette with potatoes and sausages, minute maid orange juice, bread and a few slices of fruits. I am sure many of you out there are like me. We get hungry the minute we step into the plane. I have no idea why, but whenever I go on a plane, I will definitely make sure that I have a meal on the flight. How about you, do you normally order inflight food?
