Restoran Kin Kin aka Chilli Pan Mee at Off Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman

Its been quite a while since I update this blog. I had been to several interesting place to “makan” and its time again to share it with you. During Chinese New Year, most of the shops are closed. Hence I went a day earlier to enjoy this Chilli Pan Mee from Restoran Kin Kin.
Its located at 40 Ground Floor, Jalan Dewan Sultan Sulaiman 1, off Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, Chow Kit.

I was introduced to this place by a friend of mine who was working near this area. She told me that this is a must try Pan Mee as it was very different from the normal soup pan mee that we always eat. I went to the shop with a friend of mine and we both ordered 1 bowl each from the uncle.
The shop was crowded with young adults and many had to share tables due to huge crowd. The table next to me was a couple and they had had 4 bowls of pan mee. Hence at that point in time, I wondered whether is the portion too small that they ordered 2 bowls? or the pan mee was superb and you must have 2 bowls.

Chilli is a must for this dish as the name goes “Chilli Pan Mee“, but you may opt for lesser chilli for those who can’t take too spicy. The chilli flakes was very spicy and crunchy at the same time. This goes very well with the owned-made noodles.

The chilli pan mee was served with sweet potato leaves vege soup. It is thought that if you had too much spicy food, you should drink hot soup to cool down the spicyness.

This is the exterior of the shop. If you read the wordings on the walls of the shop, the shop does not have any branches around and this is the only 1 shop that you can get here. However, there are multiple mushrooming competitor shops around. I still prefer Restoran Kin Kin as I prefer their original chilli flakes better.
