Hon Kee Famous Porridge offers one of the best porridge that I’ve ever tasted. The self-claimed famous porridge hawker stall Hon Kee was set up in Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur since 1959 and one of their specialty here is their “Haruan Fish” porridge .
Some thinly sliced fresh raw fish meat was given with a large bowl of boiling hot porridge. Just pop the fish meat into the porridge and stir until it’s cook. This way, the fish will not be overcook. Very charming dish.

Century Egg Porridge is one of the common ways of cooking a porridge. Nothing really shines here, but it tastes good.

To accompany with your porridge, you may dip in some “yau char guai”. It’s so delicious that I polished it off in minutes.

Hon Kee is located just right infront of Hong Leong Bank. I’m sure it you are a regular visitor here, you may find no problem finding Hon Kee.

people have been talking about this since the dawn of the era but embarassingly i have yet to come and eat here..sigh..looks scrumptious!
How much is it for a bowl up there?
I’ve been there too. I think its priced at RM4.50 if I recall correctly. ^^
cariso: I’m sorry, I can’t recall how much I paid for the porridge. But it shouldn’t be expensive. Even if it is, trust me its really worth it.
