Saba Middle Eastern Restaurant at Cyberjaya

Posted by Apple Foodees On October - 17 - 2009

There are not many good restaurant in Cyberjaya. Many Middle Eastern restaurant started “mushrooming” around Cyberjaya lately. I found one particular Middle Eastern restaurant very appetising.

Their food presentation is quite bad actually but the taste is fantastic. This is the Lamb Kebab Rice. The long grain rice were very fragrant coupled with nicely seasoned lamb topped with some flavourful spices and onions. Everything works together and it gives you a lovely combination of flavour. It was magnificient. The price for this is RM12.

Chicken Kebab and Pita Bread was not impressive on the other hand. The chicken kebab does not go very well with the fries. It was somewhat odd actually to have the fries there. Nevertheless, the chicken kebab was good on its own.

If you do not like pita bread, you may also opt for the rice. Personally, I prefer the rice more as the rice is very delicious. Again, they do not have very good presentation skills. Look at the burned tomato, decorated with green chili and lemon on that plate. Presentation = Fail!

I enjoy this plate of Quarter Roast Chicken with Rice a lot. It is very simple but the combinations of the flavour of the chicken was awesome. The rice were properly cooked. This is a very good example not to judge a book by its cover. This plate was packed with flavours. The price for this is RM8.

Barbican is a nice malt drink. I enjoys this drink very much. Looking at the packaging of the bottles, you may be deceived thinking that this is a bottle of bear as it does resembles a bottle of bear. But it is actually a bottle of Middle Eastern gas drink aka carbonated drink.

Some of the flavours they have here are the Regular, Lemon, Rapsberry and Peach flavours. As it is an imported drink, the price for one bottle is RM3.

You can find Saba Restaurant at one of the many shoplots located opposite the Cyberjaya’s bus terminal and Street Mall.
