Pondok Satay at USJ

Posted by Apple Foodees On September - 22 - 2009

Kajang is the best place to have satay if you love to have satays. But if you are in Subang, there is another alternative to also have a good satay meal. The place to go is the Pondok Satay which is located in USJ.

One thing odd here is the price of the satays. These chicken satays are priced at RM0.62 for each sticks.

The satay sauce and the sambal chili sauce were served separately. The sambal chili was very spicy hence a little bit of it is sufficient. But then again, if you love spicy satay you may put a bit more.

The best time to enjoy your satay will be when it is still warm from the barbeque place.

Other than chickens, they also have choices of mutton priced at RM0.90 and beef which is priced slightly lower at RM0.75 per stick.

Beef

As we were there quite early plus it was the Ramadhan month, the beefs were not available yet. So we had to settle with chicken and mutton only. I actually enjoyed the mutton more compared to the chicken satays.

Further, Nasi Empit is also available at RM2.50 per roll. In case you were wondering, Pondok Satay does not only serve satays but also other malay foods. They also have nasi lemak, mee and etc. here.
