Sarawak Kolo Mee at Bandar Kinrara, Puchong

Posted by Apple Foodees On September - 12 - 2009

I heard from a friend that there is a shop selling Sarawak Kolo Mee in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong. So, we went there to try it out, hoping that we can find the true Sarawak Kolo Mee in Peninsula Malaysia.

Sarawak Kolo Mee

True enough, my friend was right. The ingredient, the color, and most important of all the taste is very similar to the ones we had tried in Kuching, Sarawak. Served with pieces of roasted pork, vegetables, minced meat and the “reddish colour” of the mee, it does resembles the authentic Sarawak Kolo Mee. Even its red chilis was pickled to taste the same as the ones sold in Kuching.

You can choose either to have a large plate for only RM4.30, a normal size plate for RM3.00 or a small plate without any ingredients for only RM2.00. I guess the latter would be without the roasted pork and the minced meat.

As for our drinks, nothing very special about it. Just glass of iced Teh Si Peng.

Teh Si Peng

Last but not least, the most important question of all. Where is this place?

This stall can be found in the Bintang Food Court in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong. If you are very curious on how Sarawak Kolo Mee tastes like, do come and drop by and try it.
